Garden Netting Application Area:
The protective nets are particularly well-suited for covering vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, beans, radishes, strawberries, red berries, and leeks. You can place the garden nets directly on the crops to protect them from insects and pests.
Suitable for outdoor use or around the greenhouse, for protection or shading. Also suitable for mini greenhouses on balconies. Larger quantities and widths can also be requested directly from us.
Use insect protection netting as a tunnel:
For e.g. berries, we recommend using the garden net as a tunnel to protect your crops. To do this, take wooden, fence or roof slats and sharpen them. It is best to ram them into the ground all around in a circle or square, then attach the net to the wooden slats. The only important thing is that the flea beetle net reaches to the bottom so that there are no gaps. This way you can prevent pests from getting in. What is also recommended is to weigh down one side, preferably with edge bags or sandbags. This ensures that you can open the tunnel if necessary.
Tip from experts:
How do I protect my crops from a variety of threatening pests as well as wind and bad weather?
We recommend growing in a mini-tunnel or greenhouse (depending on the crop and quantity of plants). So that the crops can grow better and without problems, the net should be placed at a distance from the plants.
Before spreading, you should check whether there are no pests on the plants or underground. Some insects lay eggs underground that can even overwinter there. Therefore, before planting or laying out the net, check whether they are still/already present.
This will make gardening easier for you and allow you to really enjoy your harvest later.
